Looking for funding for your tourism training? The Yukon Tourism Training Fund may be for you!
Training can help you advance your tourism career, sharpen your skills, and improve your customers' experience. The Yukon Tourism Training Fund can help pay for up to 75% of these training costs for individuals or groups.
Please note that TIA Yukon is not a course provider. It is the applicant's responsibility to contact course providers and secure an available spot before applying for this program.

What kinds of training are eligible? A wide variety of training is eligible for YTTF such as:
- First Aid courses
- Language courses
- First Nations 101 courses
- Rafting/Canoeing/Guide training
- Financial Literacy
- Online Marketing Training

Applications are due February 16, 2026.

This intake serves as a temporary measure to support workforce development in Yukon’s tourism industry, while discussions about the program’s continuation beyond this fiscal year are still underway.

YTTF is funded by the Government of Yukon's Economic Development branch and administered by TIA Yukon.
Not all applicants meeting the minimum eligibility criteria will be approved. The program is subject to an annual budget and will prioritize all tourism sectors and all seasons.
