[Important] For February 2026 intake, only training courses not yet started at the time of submission and can be completed by March 31, 2026 are eligible.

Should anything change on your application before the intake deadline, please contact the TIA Yukon office at yttf@tiayukon.com

Applicants are able to save their application form and to come back to finish it at a later point. The TIA Yukon office will not be notified of saved incomplete applications.

Applications must be received prior to the start date of the training. Only complete applications will be considered for funding.

PART D - BUDGET CALCULATOR

YTTF covers up to 75% of your eligible training costs; up to a maximum $3,000 CAD over 2 fiscal years (April to March). All costs have to be listed in CAD. Receipts are required for all expenses except mileage and per diem. Please see program guidelines for more information regarding eligible expenses.

(1) Please ensure only non-refundable costs are eligible for this section. No refundable deposits are covered. (2) If the payment is in US dollars, it will be calculated using the Fair Exchange Rate by TIA Yukon. Alternatively, you may submit a screenshot of the transaction from your banking app, attached to the additional document field in Part E below.

Letter of Support (Employees)/Business License (Self-employed or business owners)*

Letter of support - the employer must provide a signed letter using the company letter. The "sample letter" outlines suggested information for inclusion. Download sample letter here.

Business License - self-employed individuals and business owners are required to submit any documents that verify their ownership of the business (it must include the applicant’s name). Self support letters are not accepted. In case your business is not categorized in tourism, It's strongly recommended to submit any support documents to strengthen your application in the next field.
