This 6-module, self-paced, free online program is designed to help entrepreneurs in the Yukon turn their ideas into inclusive, sustainable businesses. It complements the Yukon Government's Tourism Resource Guide - which is designed to equip entrepreneurs with the essential knowledge, planning and resources needed to navigate starting a business in the Yukon's tourism industry. You’ll gain the tools and confidence to take your venture to the next level.
And here’s the best part: the course is free and open to anyone at any time!

About the Welcome Yukon Project
The Welcome Yukon Project, led by the Tourism Industry Association of the Yukon (TIA Yukon) through the Canadian Queer Chamber of Commerce Ecosystem Fund, was designed to build a more inclusive and accessible tourism ecosystem in the territory. At its heart was the development of an online learning program - the Yukon Tourism & Culture Bootcamp - that creates a safe space for Yukon entrepreneurs to develop tourism products that are welcoming and inclusive – supporting and celebrating the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, while also celebrating inclusive Indigenous and cultural tourism. The outcomes of the project provides entrepreneurs with the business and tourism development skills they need to succeed, while strengthening Yukon’s position as a welcoming place to live, work, and belong.
