About the Welcome Yukon Project
The Welcome Yukon Project, led by the Tourism Industry Association of the Yukon (TIA Yukon) through the CGLCC Ecosystem Fund, is designed to build a more inclusive and accessible tourism ecosystem in the territory. At its heart is a new online learning and mentorship program that creates a safe space for Yukon entrepreneurs to develop tourism products that are welcoming and inclusive – supporting and celebrating the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, while also celebrating inclusive Indigenous and cultural tourism. The project provides entrepreneurs with the business and tourism development skills they need to succeed, while strengthening Yukon’s position as a welcoming place to live, work, and belong. The project is delivered in partnership with Soufly Consulting Group and Yukonstruct.
