Join the Tourism Industry Association of the Yukon and James Pugsley of the Astronomy North Society to learn all about one of Yukon’s great natural treasures: the Aurora Borealis! This free virtual workshop is designed for Yukon tourism professionals who want to provide their clients with in-depth and science-based information on the phenomenon they have travelled so far to enjoy.
This exciting new training opportunity introduces the basics of aurora science, aurora forecasting, geomagnetic storms and shares some valuable information about Solar Cycle 25.
