Join James Pugsley of Astronomy North for the second rendition of Aurora Borealis for Tourism Professionals, hosted by the Tourism Industry Association of the Yukon as part of the Elevate Workshop Series!
This workshop will explore the basics of aurora science, space weather, aurora forecasting, Solar Cycle 25, geomagnetic storms, how to use online tools, and more! It’s an excellent mini-course for guides and operators seeking aurora science training and those interested in enhancing current products and/or preparing for future opportunities. This workshop will provide tourism employers and their staff with interesting and accessible aurora information that can be easily shared with their clients.
This workshop is open to Yukon tour guides, tourism operators, hospitality workers, and everyone in between. We highly encourage tourism operators to attend with their staff and guides.
