Today, TIA Yukon’s Board of Directors came together in Whitehorse for its annual in-person Board meeting and strategic workshop. The day provided an opportunity to step away from the day-to-day and look at the bigger picture: where Yukon’s tourism industry is heading, the role TIA Yukon should play, and how the organization can continue to strengthen its impact in the years ahead.
TIA Yukon’s strategy is built around a simple ambition: to help build a tourism sector that is strategic, influential and ready for the future. Our work is organized around four areas: strengthening coordination and alignment across the tourism ecosystem; building trusted evidence about tourism’s value and impact; supporting a more resilient and future-ready industry; and maintaining strong governance within TIA Yukon.
The annual workshop gives the Board an opportunity to take stock of that direction, challenge assumptions and consider what may need to evolve as the industry and the Yukon change.
Meet the People Behind the Board
TIA Yukon’s Board brings together tourism business owners and leaders with different experiences and perspectives from across the sector. Their role is an important one: setting the strategic direction of the association and helping ensure TIA Yukon remains relevant to the industry it represents.
We invite you to get to know the people currently serving on the TIA Yukon Board.
