TIA Yukon Participates in Tourism HR Canada Labour Forum 2026

TIA Yukon recently participated in Tourism HR Canada’s Labour Forum 2026 in Ottawa, joining tourism workforce leaders from across Canada for two days of national-level discussion on the future of tourism’s workforce.

The Forum brought together national and regional tourism associations, post-secondary institutions, and other organizations involved in tourism labour market development. TIA Yukon actively participated in discussions and shared perspectives from the Yukon while connecting with partners working on similar workforce challenges across the country.

Key themes included strengthening tourism career awareness, building stronger talent pipelines, connecting education and employment, and exploring new national tools and approaches to workforce development.

Participation in national discussions like the Labour Forum helps TIA Yukon stay connected to emerging workforce initiatives across Canada and bring relevant ideas, resources, and partnerships back to the Yukon tourism industry.
