The Government of Yukon has launched a review of the Yukon Nominee Program (YNP) and is seeking input on the future of the program.
The engagement is open to all Yukon employers, including businesses that have not previously used the Yukon Nominee Program. Foreign nationals who have experience with the program over the past three years and members of the Yukon public are also invited to participate. The Department of Economy, Tourism and Culture will engage Yukon First Nations directly as part of the review.
For Yukon’s tourism industry, access to workers continues to be an important part of addressing labour market needs. Tourism businesses are encouraged to participate in the engagement and share their experience and perspectives on how the program can be effective, fair and responsive to Yukon’s labour market.
The engagement is open until October 8, 2026.
