SUMMARY:Elevate Workshop Series: Burnout – Tending the Inner Fire
DESCRIPTION:Join TIA Yukon and the Canadian Mental Health Association – Yukon Division for the next workshop in the Elevate Workshop Series: Burnout – Tending the Inner Fire.  \nBurnout isn't something that just happens overnight. It's a slow erosion of coping skills and one's ability to adapt to the daily chronic stress that finally overwhelms. Recognition and learning to see it coming is everything when it comes to burnout.  \nIn this 2-hour session\, we will move between the exploration of the defining characteristics of burnout\, possible causes of burnout\, and practical exercises to fuel the inner fire amidst unpredictable outer circumstances. Pull up your camp chair\, hit the pause button\, and take one thing off your to-do list by being present in this conversation. \nThis workshop will be held through Zoom and registration is require. Register here: https://us06web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZwtdO2sqT8uG9azdFcQw5w95JigAZDiJuGg \nMeet your facilitator:  \nBonnie MacDonald\, Workplace Wellness and Peer Support Coordinator\, CMHA-Yukon \nBonnie has dedicated her adult life to supporting individuals and families in building and nurturing relationships as the very foundation of all mental\, emotional\, physical and spiritual health. The experience derived from a 30-year career in Social Services supporting Yukon families and 26 years as a yoga/meditation teacher has offered the skills for Bonnie to facilitate groups throughout North America in the fields of mental health\, social services and mindfulness. Her work with CMHA-YT focuses on psychological health and safety in the workplace with the core belief that relationship building and self-awareness are at the essence of our well-being.
