SUMMARY:Elevate Workshop Series: Navigating Your Resiliency Quest
DESCRIPTION:Join the Tourism Industry Association of the Yukon and Bonnie MacDonald from the Canadian Mental Health Association-Yukon Division for the first workshop in the Elevate Workshop Series! This virtual mental health workshop is designed for Yukon's tourism industry and will be held on Thursday\, January 20 from 9:30 – 11:30 AM. \nLike fireweed after a boreal fire\, growing through adversity is slow and gradual.  At first\, growth happens beneath the surface\, barely visible.  In time\, the growth is more visible\, rising above the ground. Our “normal” has been drastically changed and we are being transformed by the experience of living through these uncertain times. In this 2-hour interactive session\, we will touch back into our mental health and reflect on what resiliency means.  We will explore the concept of resilience and play with some practical tools for supporting our growth through adversity. \nThis free workshop is open to anyone in Yukon's tourism industry including business owners\, guides\, employees\, and everyone in between! \nSign up for the workshop here: https://us06web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZwpce-ppj4iGNfCjMJUvmLdFado8-TC-ACP \nAfter registering\, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
