WTTC ‘Safe Travels’ Stamp
Global Safety Stamp to Recognize Safe Travels Protocols
The specially designed stamp will allow travellers to recognize governments and companies around the world which have adopted health and hygiene global standardized protocols – so consumers can experience ‘Safe Travels’.
Eligible companies such as hotels, restaurants, airlines, cruise lines, tour operators, attractions, short term rentals, car rentals, outdoor shopping, transportation and airports, will be able to use the stamp once the health and hygiene protocols, outlined by WTTC, have been implemented.
Users of the stamp have confirmed that they have implemented, and will ensure ongoing compliance with, the Safe Travels protocols and, in the case of aviation, the International Civil Aviation Organization’s “Takeoff: Guidance for Air Travel through the COVID-19 Public Health Crisis”, as outlined in our Terms & Conditions.
The Tourism Industry Association of the Yukon will assume the role of a Safe Travels ambassador to their stakeholders, advocating the implementation of the Safe Travels protocols and the uptake of the Safe Travels stamp to their subsidiary public sector authorities and private sector organisations and ensuring their ongoing compliance with the Protocols and Terms & Conditions.
The Safe Travels stamp is based on self-assessment and it is not a certification. Users of the stamp have confirmed that they have implemented, and will ensure ongoing compliance with, the Safe Travels protocols and, for aviation, the International Civil Aviation Organization’s “Takeoff: Guidance for Air Travel through the COVID-19 Public Health Crisis”.
